Department of Biotechnology Celebrates National Nutrition Week 2024


The Department of Biotechnology at St. Mary's College (Autonomous), Thrissur, celebrated National Nutrition Week 2024 on 4th September 2024 with a series of fun and educational activities aimed at promoting the importance of balanced nutrition for a healthy lifestyle.

The event, held at the Indoor Activity Area near the Library, featured a variety of activities including a Quiz Competition, a Nutritious Food Stall, and a Treasure Hunt, which were enthusiastically participated in by the students. The food stall displayed a range of healthy and delicious snacks, reinforcing the message of good nutrition.

The presence of faculty members, including Sister staff, added to the lively spirit of the event as they interacted with students and encouraged them to adopt healthy eating habits. The celebration not only raised awareness about the significance of nutrition but also created a fun, engaging environment for the student body.

The Department of Biotechnology continues to inspire students to make informed choices about their health, reflecting St. Mary's College's commitment to holistic education and well-being.
