Audit Course

UG Audit courses

These are courses which are mandatory for a UG programme from 2019 admission students onwards under University of Calicut, but not counted for the calculation of SGPA or CGPA. There shall be one Audit course each in the first four semesters. These courses are not meant for class room study. The students can attain only pass (Grade P) for these courses. At the end of each semester there shall be examination conducted by the college from a pool of questions (Question Bank). The students can also attain these credits through online courses like SWAYAM, MOOC etc (optional). The list of passed students must be sent to the University from the colleges at least before the fifth semester examination. The list of courses in each semester are given below.

PG Audit courses

There will be two Audit Courses (Ability Enhancement Course & Professional Competency Course) with 4 credits each. These have to be done one each in the first two semesters. The credits will not be counted for evaluating the overall SGPA & CGPA. The colleges shall conduct examination for these courses and have to intimate /upload the results of the same to the University on the stipulated date during the III Semester. Students have to obtain only minimum pass requirements in the Audit Courses. The details of Audit courses are given below.

II Professional Competency Course (PCC) To test the skill level of students like testing the application level of different softwares such as SPSS/ R / Econometrics / Python / Any software relevant to the programme of study / Translations etc.
