Five-Day Research-Oriented Workshop on Animal Cell Culture Techniques

The Marian Animal Cell Culture Facility and the Department of Biotechnology at St. Mary's College (Autonomous), Thrissur, organized a five-day research-oriented hands-on workshop on "Animal Cell Culture Techniques" from 17th September to 21st September 2024. The workshop aimed to provide participants with advanced practical knowledge in cell culture, a fundamental skill in modern biotechnology research.

Over the course of the workshop, students and researchers were introduced to various critical techniques, including sterile handling, cell maintenance, and the use of sophisticated laboratory equipment.
